In plain language

  • Giulia is the Best Pawrent Ever - Her Babies Tracker is a place to keep and read health records for the people and animals you look after. It is not medical or veterinary advice and it never will be. If you are worried about someone, ask a doctor. If you are worried about an animal, ask a vet.
  • There is a free plan and there are paid plans. You start with a free trial and you do not need a card to begin.
  • You can cancel whenever you like. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for, and then you get 30 more days of read-only access.
  • After that the account locks. Locked means you cannot open it. It does not mean we delete anything. Your records stay exactly where they are, and you can ask us for a copy at any time, free, even while locked.
  • Do not use Giulia is the Best Pawrent Ever - Her Babies Tracker to try to reach anyone else’s records, and do not upload anything unlawful.
  • Portuguese law applies. If you live in the EU, the consumer protections of your own country still apply too — nothing here takes those away.

This box is a summary and nothing more. The numbered sections below are what actually applies.

1.Who we are, and what these terms cover

Giulia is the Best Pawrent Ever - Her Babies Tracker (“Giulia is the Best Pawrent Ever - Her Babies Tracker”, “we”, “us”) is operated by to be completed: the operator's registered legal name, of to be completed: the registered address, Portugal, tax number PT298190265.

These terms are the agreement between you and us for the use of Giulia is the Best Pawrent Ever - Her Babies Tracker — the website, the application, the machine interface, and any part of it you can reach with your account. By creating an account, or by continuing to use one, you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use Giulia is the Best Pawrent Ever - Her Babies Tracker.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract to hold an account. Giulia is the Best Pawrent Ever - Her Babies Tracker is built for personal and household use. If you want to use it inside a clinic, a practice or any other organisation, write to us first — those arrangements need a separate agreement, and in some cases a data processing agreement as well.

Two other documents form part of this agreement: our Privacy Policy and our Cookie Policy.

2.Giulia is the Best Pawrent Ever - Her Babies Tracker does not give medical or veterinary advice

Nothing you see in Giulia is the Best Pawrent Ever - Her Babies Tracker is a clinical opinion. A chart is a drawing of numbers you gave it. A colour on a value means the value falls outside a range that was recorded alongside it — nothing more. A summary is a summary of what is stored, not a judgement about what it means.

Reference ranges are not ours. They come from the laboratory or clinic that produced the result, or from a value someone typed in. Laboratories differ from one another, and ranges differ by age, sex, species and breed. A result inside a range is not proof that anyone is well. A result outside one is not proof that anyone is ill. Only the clinician looking after the patient can tell you what a number means for that patient.

Information in Giulia is the Best Pawrent Ever - Her Babies Tracker is only as good as what went into it. Values are read off documents — sometimes by you, sometimes by software — and reading can go wrong. A decimal point can move. A unit can be misread. Giulia is the Best Pawrent Ever - Her Babies Tracker keeps the original file of every document precisely so you can check, and you should check anything that matters against the original before acting on it.

Giulia is the Best Pawrent Ever - Her Babies Tracker does not monitor your records, does not watch for dangerous values, and will not alert you or anyone else to anything. It has no on-call and no clinician behind it. If a result needs someone to act on it, the person who has to notice is you or your clinician.

3.The Diagnoses section, for pets

A profile for a pet can have a Diagnoses section: a list of open lines of enquiry — a short name, the reasoning behind it, symptoms you can confirm or deny, medicines that might be worth asking a vet about, and supporting evidence from that pet’s own documents and measurements. You can write one by hand; an assistant you connect on the Pro plan can file one for you; and on the Pro AI plan, Giulia is the Best Pawrent Ever - Her Babies Tracker’s own built-in AI can propose one when you ask it to, from a bounded set of that pet’s own recent records. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what that AI receives.

The Diagnoses section is for pets only. We do not offer it for a human profile, and this is a deliberate limit, not a placeholder for one we intend to lift casually. Every entry says on its face who or what wrote it — by hand, relayed from an assistant you connected, or suggested by our own AI — and none of it is ranked, scored, or marked as more or less serious than another.

Nothing in the Diagnoses section is a diagnosis, a prescription, or a decision. There is deliberately no field for how much of something to give, by what route, or how often — a real course of treatment is recorded separately, only once a vet has actually said so in person. Treat every entry as a question worth bringing to a vet, never as an answer.

4.Your account

You need an account, and you confirm your email address before the account becomes usable. Keep the address current: it is how we reach you about billing, security and anything that affects your access.

Your account is yours alone. Choose a password you do not use elsewhere, do not share it, and tell us immediately if you think someone else has it. You are responsible for what happens under your account, except where the cause was our failure. If you need to end every open session at once, you can, from your account settings.

One person, one account. Members of a household should each have their own account rather than share one — not because we are counting, but because a shared login makes the record of who did what useless, and that record is the thing that protects you.

5.Profiles, and records about other people

Everything clinical in Giulia is the Best Pawrent Ever - Her Babies Tracker belongs to a profile: one pet, or one person. You can have as many profiles as you need on one account, on any plan. We do not cap them.

A profile can be a person who is not you — a child, a parent, a partner. If you create one, you are responsible for being entitled to hold that person’s health information: either they have given you their explicit agreement, or you are their parent or legal guardian, or you otherwise have a legal right to act for them. By creating the profile you are telling us that this is true.

That person keeps their own rights over their own data, and they can write to us directly to see what is held, correct it, or ask for it to be deleted — whether or not they have an account. See the Privacy Policy for how that works.

Records about an animal are different in law: an animal has no privacy rights. Those records are still personal data about you, because they are tied to your account, and we treat them with the same care.

6.What you may and may not do

Use Giulia is the Best Pawrent Ever - Her Babies Tracker for what it is for. Specifically, do not:

  • try to read, change or delete anything belonging to another account, or test whether you can — the database refuses it, and trying is still a breach of these terms;
  • probe, scan, overload or attack the service, or attempt to get around a plan limit, a rate limit or a payment;
  • upload anything you have no right to hold, anything unlawful, or anything that is not what it claims to be;
  • resell Giulia is the Best Pawrent Ever - Her Babies Tracker, or run a service for other people on top of it, without a written agreement with us;
  • use automated access other than through the interfaces we provide, with credentials issued to you, within the limits of your plan.

If you find a security problem, please tell us before you tell anyone else, and do not access anyone else’s data while proving it. We will not pursue anyone who reports a genuine finding in good faith and gives us a reasonable chance to fix it.

7.Plans, prices and payment

Giulia is the Best Pawrent Ever - Her Babies Tracker has one free plan and three paid plans. In short: Free reads everything you already have but cannot add to it; Starter adds documents and measurements by hand; Pro adds the connector that lets an assistant you choose work with your records; and Pro AI adds our own reading of your documents, with a monthly allowance. Exactly what each plan includes is shown on the plans page inside the app, and that page is part of this agreement.

Prices. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically until you cancel. The price is shown before you pay. Payments are taken by Stripe; we never see or store your card number. Where Stripe can, it will show you the price in your own currency, in which case the amount charged depends on the exchange rate at the time and may differ slightly from the base amount you saw quoted in euro. Tax is added where it applies. We are the seller of record and the invoice comes from us, through Stripe; your invoices are always available from the billing portal, on every plan, including a locked one.

If a payment fails, Stripe will retry it and email you about the card. You keep full access for as long as it is retrying. If it never succeeds, your subscription ends and the read-only window described below begins. We will email you before that happens.

If we raise the price of a plan you are already on, we will tell you at least 30 days before it takes effect, naming the old price, the new price and the date, by email and in the app. You can cancel before it applies. If we lower a price, we simply lower it.

8.The free trial

When you confirm your email address, a 7-day trial starts. It needs no card. If you add a card at any point during it, the trial becomes a larger one and runs for a further 7 days from that moment, so an engaged reader can have up to 14 days before paying anything.

You are not charged during a trial. If you have added a card and do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription begins and the first payment is taken then. If you never added a card, nothing is taken and the account moves into the read-only window described below.

One trial per person. Making a second account to get a second trial is a breach of these terms, and we may end the account.

9.Cancelling, the read-only window, and the locked state

You can cancel at any time, from the billing portal in your account. There is no notice period, no cancellation fee and nothing to write to us about.

Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not cut you off immediately: you keep everything your plan gives you until the end of the period you have already paid for.

The 30-day read-only window

When a paid period ends, a trial ends, or a complimentary plan we granted expires, the account moves to a read-only window of 30 days. During it you can:

  • open every profile, chart, document, measurement, treatment and food entry;
  • download the original file of any document;
  • export a PDF report;
  • keep using any share link you had already created, until that link’s own expiry.

What you cannot do is add, change or delete anything, create a new share link, or use the connector. The window exists because the moment a paid relationship ends is often exactly the moment someone needs to get a report to a vet.

Locked

After those 30 days the account is locked. A locked account can sign in and reach one thing: the billing page, so you can subscribe again. Subscribing again restores everything immediately and nothing has changed in the meantime.

If you would rather we deleted the account than kept it, say so and we will. See the Privacy Policy for what deletion does and does not cover.

10.Refunds and your right to change your mind

If you are a consumer in the EU, you have 14 days to change your mind about a new subscription, counting from the day it starts, and you do not have to give a reason.

Subscribing means asking us to start the service straight away rather than waiting out those 14 days. That is what you want, and it is what the buttons do. The consequence, which the law requires us to spell out, is that if you then withdraw within the 14 days we may charge you in proportion to the part of the period you already had, and we refund the rest. If you have not used the service at all in that period, we refund it in full.

Outside that 14-day right, payments for a period already begun are not automatically refundable — but ask us. If something went wrong, if you were charged for something you did not want, or if you simply forgot to cancel and have not used the month, write to us and we will look at it properly. We would rather refund you than keep money you did not mean to spend.

When we do refund a subscription, it ends immediately rather than at the end of the period, and the 30-day read-only window starts from that moment. A trial costs nothing, so there is nothing to refund for one.

12.Connecting your own assistant

On the Pro plan you can connect an outside assistant to your account through an open connector. Any client that speaks the standard protocols can connect; we do not favour, require or bundle any particular company’s product.

If you connect one, it is your choice and your relationship. It reads your records because you told it to, using a credential you granted and can revoke at any moment from your account. What that company does with what it reads is governed by your agreement with them, not by this one, and we are not responsible for it. We never send your records to any assistant on our own initiative.

The Pro AI plan is different, and it is the one case where we do the reading. It is optional, it is a plan you have to choose, and it comes with a monthly allowance shown on your account page. When the allowance runs out it stops, plainly, and you are never billed for going over it.

13.Availability, support and changes to the service

We work to keep Giulia is the Best Pawrent Ever - Her Babies Tracker available, but we do not promise that it will always be up. It may be unavailable for maintenance, or because something upstream of us failed. Where we can plan an interruption, we will tell you in advance.

Support is by email, from one person, in a reasonable time. There is no guaranteed response time and there is no emergency line. This is not a clinical service and it must never be relied on as one.

Giulia is the Best Pawrent Ever - Her Babies Tracker changes. We add things, improve things, and sometimes remove things that are not working. If we remove or materially reduce something you are paying for, we will tell you at least 30 days beforehand and you may cancel and get back the unused part of what you paid.

14.When we can suspend or close an account

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms — in particular for attempts to reach other people’s data, for attacks on the service, or for unlawful content. Where the situation allows it, we warn first and give you a chance to fix it. Where it does not, we act first and explain afterwards.

If we suspend an account for a reason other than non-payment, we also pause its billing, so nobody is charged for access they are being refused.

If we close your account, we will tell you and you will have at least 30 days to ask for a copy of everything on it before anything is deleted — unless the law requires us to act otherwise.

We may also stop offering Giulia is the Best Pawrent Ever - Her Babies Tracker altogether. If that ever happens we will give at least 90 days’ notice, refund the unused part of anything paid, and provide a way to take your records with you for the whole of that period.

15.Your records stay yours

What you put into Giulia is the Best Pawrent Ever - Her Babies Tracker is yours. We claim no ownership of your documents, your values or anything else on your profiles. We do not sell them, we do not share them with anyone except the service providers listed in the Privacy Policy, and we do not use them to train any model.

We need a narrow permission to run the service at all: to store your content, copy it for backups, and display it back to you and to anyone you have deliberately shared it with. That permission exists only for those purposes and ends when the content is deleted.

The software, the design and the name are ours, and using Giulia is the Best Pawrent Ever - Her Babies Tracker does not transfer any of it to you.

16.What we do not promise, and what we are liable for

Giulia is the Best Pawrent Ever - Her Babies Tracker is provided as it is. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that everything stored in it is accurate — accuracy depends on what was put in, as explained above.

Health decisions are yours and your clinician’s. Giulia is the Best Pawrent Ever - Her Babies Tracker is a filing cabinet with good charts. It does not advise, and we are not responsible for a clinical decision anyone makes.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded under Portuguese law. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected by anything written here.

Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows: we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business or indirect losses; and our total liability to you for everything arising in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of what you paid us in that period and €50.

Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose. We hold two copies of every original document and the database is backed up, but no service is a substitute for a copy in your own hands. You can export at any time on any plan except a locked one, and you can ask us for a copy even then.

17.Privacy

How we handle your information — including health information, which the law treats as a special category needing your explicit agreement — is set out in the Privacy Policy. It is worth reading in full; it is short, and it names every company that touches anything.

18.Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you by email and in the app at least 30 days before it takes effect, and we will say what changed rather than only that something did. Continuing to use Giulia is the Best Pawrent Ever - Her Babies Tracker after that date means you accept the new version; if you do not, cancel before it applies and we will refund the unused part of anything you paid.

Corrections that do not change your rights — a typo, a clearer sentence — take effect when published. Every version carries the date it was published, at the top of the page.

19.Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Portuguese law. Disputes go to the courts of to be completed: the court district for the operator's registered office, Portugal.

If you are a consumer resident in the EU, that does not take anything away from you. You keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of the place where you live.

Please write to us first if something has gone wrong — most things are fixable in an email. If we cannot resolve it between us, you may also take the matter to a consumer dispute-resolution body or the consumer protection authority in your own country.

If a court finds any part of these terms unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. Our not enforcing something on one occasion does not mean we have given it up.

20.The language of these terms

These terms are written and published in English, and the English version is the authoritative one. If we publish a translation, or if your browser or another tool translates this page for you, that translation is provided for convenience only: where it differs from the English, the English wording is the one that applies. Nothing in this clause takes away a right your own consumer law gives you about the language a contract is offered in.

The same goes for the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy. If a sentence here is unclear to you in English, write to us before you agree to anything and we will explain what it means — we would far rather answer the question than have you rely on a wording we did not write.
